Abstract

China is now the EU’s second largest trading partner, behind the U.S., and the EU is China’s biggest trading partner. The collaboration between the EU and China, on one hand and EU Member States and China on other, is complementary with the ultimate goal being to enhance fruitful and tangible relations in various areas, including economic development, trade, research and innovation, among others.
