Abstract
The Tropics comprise about 38 % of the earth’s surface and contain over 40 % of the world’s population (mostly in Asia). As a rough rule, the closer you are to the Equator, the wetter the climate—or more important for rainwater harvesting (RWH)—the more uniform the rainfall through the year.
