Abstract

In this paper, LED illumination technology was used to design a suitable illumination system for Haematococcus pluvialis culture. The system used STM32 microprocessor as the main control chip and white LED with red and blue peaks as the supplementary light source to ensure the appropriate light ratio for the multiplication and induction stage of Haematococcus pluvialis. Using STM32 MCU to output PWM signal, the LED driving circuit was designed to control the current of the driving circuit, so as to realize the linear adjustment of light intensity. The automatic dimming function based on dissolved oxygen in algae solution was realized by programming. The experimental results show that the system can automatically and linearly adjust the light intensity. The maximum intensity of the system can meet the cultivation requirements, and the uniformity of the light is great.
