Abstract

New high resolution elastic and inelastic scattering data near the Ecm=19.7 MeV structure in the 16O+12C system are discussed. Attention is devoted to the isolation of ‘nonstatistical’ effects and to the extraction of (nearly) model independent S-matrix elements.
