Abstract
This paper presents the activities undertaken in EURESCOM in order to meet the management requirements of multimedia services. These activities are being performed in the P610 project “Management of Multimedia Services” (July 96–April 98) whose objectives are to define a management framework, architecture and to establish methodological guidelines for the design of distributed management systems for multimedia services. The results obtained so far are described in this paper.
