Abstract
This collection includes my own essays in comparative literature from 1997 to 2002. Thematically, these essays may be subsumed under the core theme of the semiotics of exile as reflected in various genres and discourses: photography, poetics, tragedy, prototype of artists, concept of time, and e’criture feminine.
