Abstract
Our second principal finding from an examination of this leadership universe is the high quality of their interpersonal skills - essentially their insight into human behaviour. The leadership profile of virtually all of the 25 individuals is marked by such insight, whether manifested in superior oratorical or debating skills, negotiating prowess, exploiting others’ weaknesses, the use of ambiguity in dealing with opposing forces, or simply building relationships on the basis of trust and communication.
