Abstract
Throughout this book, the case is being made that it is against our will to act to the detriment of others. You may be wondering if it is against our will, why do people so often harm others? After all, the human track record in Nazi Germany, Stalinist Russia, Rwanda, Guantanamo Bay, Abu Ghraib, and rendition camps worldwide has been quite horrific.
