\▐rē-▐flek-▐ti-vә-tē\ n (1) Reflectance which would be attained if a material were completely opaque; reflectance of a layer of material of such thickness that an increase in thickness will not change its reflectance. (2) The reflectance of a film so thick that a further increase in thickness does not change the reflectance.
