Introduction

How society, economy, and democracy are developing (and evolving), this is currently changing in the context of a transformation process, also being conceptualized (sometimes) as Industry 4.0 or Industry 5.0. In the following, we are providing some hypotheses, addressing a few of the crucial phenomena. In the conclusion, finally, we raise some more questions, which are also far more far-reaching.
