Definition

Channel on Titan that might carry liquid (IAU Gazetteer 2014).

Note

The plural form, flumina, refers to a system of linear features (channels), similar to valles.

Origin of Term

River, Latin.

History of Nomenclature

Approved in 2005 for surface features on Titan (Aksnes 2007).
