Nadine Joy Kaslow, PhD, ABPP.
Introduction
Dr. Kaslow is a psychologist renowned for her innovative work in competency-based training, relational diagnoses, and culturally competent family interventions. In her highly visible leadership roles, she has brought national attention to couple and family psychology and has been public in her use of systems theory to guide her leadership actions.
Career
Dr. Kaslow received her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Houston, and completed her internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Wisconsin Medical School, Madison. Her first academic appointment was at Yale School of Medicine in the Department of Psychiatry and the Child Study Center. In 1990 she joined the faculty in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine, where she is Professor and Vice Chair for Faculty Development, Chief Psychologist for Grady Health System, and Director of the Postdoctoral Residency...
