Definitions

There continues to be inequality within and among nations despite progress in and efforts at narrowing disparities of opportunity, income and power, income inequality continues to rise in many parts of the world. Table 1 shows seven targets identified to help implementation and to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030.
