Zusammenfassung

Die Blutdruckregulierung im Stehen unterliegt der Schwerkraft (Orthostase – aufrechtes Stehen) und erfordert eine Anpassung des Gefäßtonus. Die orthostatische Dysregulation bzw. Intoleranz ist eine Funktionsstörung des autonomen vegetativen Nervensystems, die sich akut als neurokardiogene/vasovagale Synkope, chronisch zumeist als posturales orthostatisches Tachykardiesyndrom zeigt.
