Definition

Submarine is the general name of all kinds of underwater vessels. Submarine is a kind of naval vessel that can sail and fight on the water and at a certain depth under water.

Composition and Basic Type

System Composition

The submarine is mainly composed of hulls, control systems, power units, weapons systems, observation equipment, communications equipment, and navigation equipment. The equipment on board is mainly divided into five parts according to functions: observation system, communication system, navigation system, weapon system, and electromechanical system. Submarines usually use the following four types of shapes: conventional one, water-drop one, like water-drop, whale-shaped (Zhong and You 2017).
