This book was written by Huairen Liu and was published by Chongqing Publishing House in 1998. The book briefly discusses the geological history, strata, rocks, structures, and palaeo-biological characteristics of Mount Emei. It systematically introduces the geological tourism resources of Mount Emei and presents a scientific analysis of the intrinsic link between the formation of Mount Emei’s beautiful scenery and its geological evolution. The meteorology, vegetation, animals and other geographical landscapes are also briefly introduced. This was the first geotourism picture book to introduce Mount Emei.
