Volcanic mud treatment refers to the process of smearing mud that contains beneficial minerals on the body or immersing the entire body in the mud to achieve therapeutic effects or to alleviate symptoms. This treatment is also called a mud bath. There are specialised mud treatment facilities in the Wudalianchi Global Geopark.
