The average temperatures of the Earth’s atmosphere and the ocean have increased in the recent past. In addition to the natural increase in temperatures during the post-glacial period, greenhouse gases generated by the burning of fossil fuels, the destruction of forests and the emission of carbon dioxide are also causes of the changes in temperature. Long-wave radiation has a high degree of absorption and can strongly absorb the infrared rays in ground radiation, resulting in global warming. Global warming will change the global precipitation patterns, accelerate the melting of glaciers and frozen soil, cause sea level rise, and eventually change the balance of natural ecosystems.
